This MT5 Expert Advisor was created by our team and is sold exclusively on this page at sierraonshop.com. Do not purchase or install it from any other website, marketplace, social network or reseller. Files obtained elsewhere are not official: they may contain malware, modified trading logic or unauthorized order instructions capable of causing severe losses or damaging your trading account. Only the files delivered directly through this page are the official version.

This Expert Advisor is designed for traders who want a systematic approach without spending their day watching a chart. Once installed in MetaTrader 5, the Expert Advisor monitors the market, waits for its conditions and manages the complete life cycle of every trade.

The objective is not to trade constantly. The robot is deliberately selective. It looks for long opportunities during a favorable market regime, controls the number of entries and exits when its profit or risk rules are reached. Every decision comes from the code; there is no discretionary intervention and no emotional change of plan after a position has been opened.

Why we developed this trading robot

Manual trading demands time, concentration and emotional discipline. Even with a clear strategy, it is easy to enter too early, increase risk impulsively or abandon a plan after a series of losses. We wanted to transform a practical trading idea into a repeatable process that always applies the same rules.

This Expert Advisor is the result of repeated development, historical testing and risk-management work. Its role is simple: wait, execute and manage risk consistently. It does not promise effortless income and it cannot remove market risk. It provides a structured execution framework for self-directed MetaTrader 5 users.

How the strategy works

The Expert Advisor follows a long-only pullback strategy. It searches for an entry on the H1 timeframe while using a broader daily trend context. This allows the robot to avoid buying every random movement and to concentrate on pullbacks that occur inside a favorable long-term environment.

The strategy is built around a short sequence of understandable rules:

  1. The daily market regime must satisfy the long-term trend condition.
  2. The H1 price must reach the defined pullback area.
  3. The trade must occur during the authorized trading window.
  4. Spread, quote freshness, margin and volume checks must all pass.
  5. The first buy is opened with a fixed volume.
  6. Additional entries are allowed only at lower predefined levels and never above the previous entry.
  7. The positions are managed as one basket with a common objective and protective exits.

The additional entries are not an unlimited martingale. Their purpose is to improve the average entry price when the initial timing is early. The number of positions and total exposure remain strictly capped in the production code.

How averaging and basket protection work

A simplified illustration of the logic: additional entries can only be placed lower, the average entry price adjusts, and the basket remains framed by an exit objective and a protective stop.

Conceptual diagram only. It does not reproduce exact prices, distances or future market behavior, and it does not guarantee a profitable exit.

Risk management comes before trade frequency

A trading algorithm should never rely on a single optimistic assumption. The Expert Advisor therefore checks both the trading setup and the conditions in which an order would be executed. If an essential value is unavailable or invalid, the robot does not invent a replacement value and does not open a new position.

The production version includes the following controls:

  • A hard maximum of five simultaneous entries.
  • A hard ceiling on total volume controlled inside the code.
  • No new order when the spread is 30 points or higher.
  • Margin verification before every order request.
  • Volume normalization according to the broker’s minimum, maximum and step.
  • Fresh-price and symbol-availability checks before execution.
  • A ten-day time stop to prevent a basket from remaining open indefinitely.
  • A cooling-off period after a protective exit.
  • Protection against duplicate orders on the same signal.
  • Management restricted to positions opened by this EA and identified by its magic number.

These controls do not make trading risk-free. A violent market gap, broker outage or exceptional execution condition can still produce a result different from the requested price. Their purpose is to prevent avoidable software mistakes and to keep the strategy within its intended exposure.

Built for real MetaTrader 5 operation

The code checks trade requests and broker responses rather than assuming that every order was accepted. Position volumes, prices and protection levels are calculated from the specifications supplied by the connected broker. The robot also writes clear operational messages in the MetaTrader journal so that rejected or blocked actions can be reviewed.

The Expert Advisor runs locally inside your own MetaTrader 5 terminal. We never access your trading account, hold your funds or execute orders on your behalf. You remain responsible for the broker, account, VPS, platform settings, position size and decision to enable or disable automated trading.

Historical test results

The chart below is the complete balance curve generated by the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester for the stated period. It is presented as a historical simulation, not as a live account statement and not as a promise of future performance.

MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor historical backtest equity curve from 2019 to 2026
MetaTrader 5 historical simulation — January 1, 2019 to July 29, 2026. These are not live trading results.

Backtest summary

  • Test period: January 1, 2019 to July 29, 2026
  • Platform and timeframe: MetaTrader 5, H1
  • Historical data: broker-provided .US500Cash data
  • History quality: 99%
  • Initial deposit: $1,000
  • Initial position size: 0.01 lot
  • Test leverage: 1:100
  • Net historical result: +$67.41 (+6.74%)
  • Sharpe ratio: 2.31
  • Profit factor: 2.27
  • Maximum equity drawdown: 1.06% ($11.10)
  • Total trades: 866
  • Profitable trades in the simulation: 79.21%

The figures must be read together. A high win rate alone does not describe risk, and increasing position size does not improve the underlying strategy: it increases both potential profit and potential loss. The displayed result uses a small fixed starting volume so that the historical behavior and drawdown remain easy to evaluate.

Historical simulations are hypothetical. Live performance may differ because of spreads, swaps, commissions, slippage, price gaps, latency, historical-data quality and broker contract specifications. Future market behavior may also differ materially from the test period.

Trade result by holding time

This second MetaTrader 5 report view plots the historical result of closed trades against their holding duration. It provides additional context beyond the balance curve and shows that the test includes both profitable and losing outcomes.

FAQ — Frequently asked questions

What is an MT5 Expert Advisor?

An Expert Advisor, commonly called an EA, is a program that runs inside MetaTrader 5 and applies predefined trading and risk-management rules automatically. This EA does not predict the future: it executes one precise set of rules without emotion or manual hesitation.

Does this Expert Advisor work with MetaTrader 4?

No. This Expert Advisor is written in MQL5 and developed exclusively for MetaTrader 5. It is not compatible with MetaTrader 4.

What is the difference between the two licenses?

The Standard license includes the compiled EX5 file, ready to install in MetaTrader 5. The Source Code license also includes the readable MQ5 source file for personal study and modification. Neither license includes redistribution, publication or resale rights.

Does the robot open an unlimited number of positions?

No. The production version contains a hard maximum of five entries as well as a total-volume ceiling. These limits are enforced inside the code and are not optional entry settings that can be exceeded accidentally.

Can I test the EA before considering live use?

Yes. The EA can be tested in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester. We strongly recommend testing it with your own broker data and contract specifications before considering any live activation.

Are the results shown on this page live results?

No. They are historical simulations produced in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester. The period, deposit, position size and data quality are displayed so that the result can be read in its proper context.

Will I obtain the same performance?

No result is guaranteed. Live performance can differ because of spreads, swaps, commissions, slippage, execution latency, price gaps, broker specifications and future market conditions.

What do I receive after purchase?

You receive the selected software files, the tested default configuration and a concise PDF installation guide explaining where to place the EA and how to launch it in MetaTrader 5.
